The Book of James has been called “The Proverbs of the New Testament” because of its highly practical nature. It offers straightforward teachings on living a Christian life. Furthermore, James offers us several nuggets of wisdom to guide us in our daily walks of faith. This “handbook” uses multiple examples to show us how to move from reading about our faith to acting on our faith. We can read the Bible every day, but if we don’t put it into practice, our lives won’t change. In a world full of empty religion and shallow talk, James reminds us that real faith is visible—it’s in how we speak, how we serve, and how we endure. True faith produces fruit. A faith without action and without life change is ultimately a dead faith. James speaks to the realities of a living faith in Jesus, which is borne out of an authentic relationship with the risen Lord. He writes to believers who know suffering, who've faced trials, and who ultimately desire a deep relationship with God. Come join us as we study the Book Of James and experience living with spiritual integrity and rooted in the wisdom and love of God.
